Toxicity of Essential Oils Nanoemulsion Against Aphis Craccivora and Their Inhibitory Activity on Insect Enzymes

Essential oils are widely used as botanical insecticides rather than chemically synthesized pesticides which led to catastrophic effects on humans, the environment, and eutrophication. Here, encapsulation of four essential Basilicum ocimum, Cuminum cyminum, Origanum marjorana, Matricaria chamomilla were utilized in presence 3% v/v ethanol, anti-insect against Aphis craccivora compared traditional dinotefuran pymetrozine. Different tools characterize prepared nanoemulsion such TEM, SEM, Zeta potential analyzer. Besides, selected B. ocimum C. cyminum analyzed by gas chromatography-mass GC/mass spectrometry. The results reveal that exhibited considerable toxic activities laboratory field strains cowpea aphid. In toxicity bioassay test oils, moderate mortality was observed at 10,000 mg/L aphid with lethal concentration kills 50% insects (LC50) values basil 992 marjoram 3162 mg/L. Else, provided highest rate 625 LC50 (NE) 45 mg/L, NE 188 strains. systemic tested substances acetylcholine esterase, alkaline phosphatase, ?-esterases, glutathione S-transferase (GST), mixed-function oxidase (MFO) enzymes found be significantly decreased increased when control groups. Overall, these highlight is could useful developing integrated insect management faba bean fields.
